Terms of Service
Usage terms, founding member offer, and free trial—readable and clear.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Billable. By signing up or using our service, you agree to these terms. We’ve written them to be clear and readable.
1. Service description
Billable is a revenue recovery assistant that detects potential unbilled client work using metadata (calendar, browser, and optional desktop activity). We suggest sessions for your review; we do not create invoices or charge clients on your behalf. You remain responsible for all billing decisions and compliance with your own agreements.
2. Free trial
New users receive a 14-day free trial. No payment method is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, you may subscribe to a paid plan to continue. If you do not subscribe, access to paid features will end; we may retain limited account data as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Founding Member offer
The first 1,000 users who join the waitlist and sign up for Billable are eligible for our Founding Member plan: $19/month for life. This rate is locked for as long as you maintain an active subscription. Eligibility is determined by order of sign-up; we reserve the right to end the offer once the 1,000 cap is reached. Founding Member pricing does not apply to add-ons or future enterprise plans, if any.
4. Paid plans and payment
After the free trial, subscription fees apply according to the plan you choose. Billing is in advance (e.g. monthly or annually). You may cancel at any time; cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use and your data
You agree to use Billable only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you provide (e.g. client names, rates). We process data as described in our Privacy Policy and do not sell your data to third parties.
6. Disclaimers and limits
Billable is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that our suggestions are complete or accurate; you are solely responsible for deciding what to bill. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of revenue arising from your use or reliance on the service.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time; we will notify you of material changes (e.g. by email or in-app notice). Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance. For questions, contact us at the support or contact details provided on our website.
